Life is full of change. I've put together a daily routine that travels with me. Here's my list.
1. Jumping or Stretching
You'd think i'd get rid of something so bulky in my suitcase while travelling over the years, but over and over again I miss a fitness mat when I don't bring one.
This becomes the centrepiece of whatever room I'm in, and I move my body on it every single day. It's either HIIT training (High-Intensity-Interval-Training) or nightly stretching.
Movement is a daily requirement for me, the mat is a necessity.
2. Using a Tea Thermos
Every country I have ever visited drinks either tea or coffee. I start every single day with one or the other. I love trying local teas and coffees, and making my own in the thermos. Hot water is always free, so you'll catching me bugging hotel and restaurant staff to fill it up. I've been using this brand for a while now. It's a daily routine that's stuck.
3. Flossing my Teeth.
I carry a small flosser with me at all times. It's become a bit of an addiction. After having a few cavities between my teeth, and a hot tip that half your bad breath is from food stuck between your teeth... I floss everyday without fail.
4. Writing & Journaling.
I have 3 journals I travel with. One for video ideas, one for long term goals, and one for day to day productivity. I use one, or all 3 of them daily to keep me on track. If I don't journal, I start to feel like I get lost in the pace of life. These books help me keep a hand on the horns.
5. Making my (Hotel) Bed.
When I first came across the idea of making your bed everyday, I didn't think it applied to my life. I'm in so many hotels, and sleeping bags... But here I am making my bed every morning to get that first win of the day. From there, things always seem to go upward.
